Tweetie Pie Bags – Marketing Messaging and Copywriting

Challenge/Opportunity:

Tweetie Pie Bags® is a company that designs, manufactures and sells a collection of reusable shopping bags that fold up into tiny pouches that come in a variety of attractive (actually, downright adorable) shapes and designs.  When Tracy began working with Tweetie Pie, she learned that everyone who saw the bags wanted them… and what Tweetie Pie wanted was to gain distribution in large retail chains.  The issue they had was that their website did not demonstrate and communicate the appeal of their bags.

Strategy:

Working hand-in-hand with a website developer and designer, Tracy worked to recreate Tweetie Pie’s messages, and wrote new website content.  Tracy spent time learning about the products, the competition, and the unique aspects of Tweetie Pie’s reusable bags.  She then wrote and refined website content that is whimsical in tone, and yet effectively describes the wide variety in their product line.  Through the creation of new website content, Tracy was able to help website visitors understand what is different, and special, about the bags.

Results:

With the new website, Tweetie Pie Bags® immediately formed relationships with several major national retail chains, and booked several hundred thousand dollars in orders within two months of the launch of the website.  Tweetie Pie is now rolling out its product line with several of their target retailers – which is their ultimate objective as a company.
